My experience
I’ve been supporting students with different learning styles for over 5 years in School District 44, and continue to work part time there. I’ve helped many students to reach towards their true capability.
My qualifications include a current certification in Orton Gillingham, an M.A in Languages from King’s College, London and a B.Ed from Argentina. For over 20 years, I’ve been an educator in 3 countries and chose the North Shore as my home over 11 years ago.
I am also member in good standing with the Canadian Academy of Therapeutic tutors , known as OG Canada.
Above all, I am passionate about teaching and motivating each individual I work with!
Who we help - and how
The North Shore Literacy Centre is focused on the needs of students from K-7 who find challenges with reading. Before we begin working with the student, we talk with the family about specific challenges and their learning styles. The objective of each structured lesson is to progressively strengthen specific literacy skills!
